This is around a 120-image focus stack, one of my first. I saw this weed near my car, picked one, and took it back home where I could control the lighting and really make the details pop!

I remember shooting hummingbirds, and they come in waves. You'll have 30-60 seconds of shooting, and then maybe 30-60 minutes of waiting for the next pass. During one of the lulls, I looked down and saw this guy looking up at me. They're pretty common, but the detail and colors really make this image pop.
